OmegaX Acquires Majority Stake in GWI
Fremont, CA – April 1, 2025
OmegaX, an advanced-industry investment firm based in Silicon Valley, today announced it has signed a definitive share purchase agreement to acquire a majority equity stake in GWI from a group of selling shareholders led by President and majority owner Po-Yu Chuang.
Founded in Denver in 1946 and now headquartered in Arvada, Colorado, GWI has spent nearly 80 years supplying more than 150 high-purity inorganic compounds—including specialty bromides, chlorides, iodides, oxides, and sulfides—to enterprise customers worldwide. Generations of scientists and engineers know the company for its dependability in U.S.-based manufacturing and technical support.
